DIY Crow lab: Taking a soil core with an auger 1m
Join Hannah and Casey as they go through the process of collecting a 1m soil core! Part 1 includes the first core 0-20cm, using a 20cm auger at the Lyon Arboretum. Part 2 includes the end of the sampling method from 80-100cm. The entire process took us about 25 minutes from start to finish. The first and last core (of the five 20cm core samples) are include with some helpful tips and tricks for soil sampling in the field.
